Go ahead, be angry. Be as angry as you want to be! Be irritated, annoyed, frustrated, even furious! Anger is a normal feeling. No one has ever been injured, maimed or destroyed as the result of feeling angry. Feeling angry is not the problem. Being aggressive in expressing your anger is the problem.
Every chapter includes real world scenarios to illustrate the multiple concepts for how to think about anger differently, for example, understanding the impact of your attitude and self-talk. Also offered are six tested and successful skills for expressing your anger in an assertive manner, from fighting fair to developing your own personalized Anger Management Plan.
Be Angry, But Not Aggressive can help you be the person you want to be when you feel angry. Instead of being the person others avoid or cower from, you could be that person everyone says, “I wish I could handle my anger like that!”
